Colorado Springs Utilities
Meet Linda! She works with Colorado Springs Utilities and she is passionate about helping their customers in their lobby.
Linda is learning sign language (tutored by our very own Julie of ASL with Julie) to help improve their customer service experience in person. So Colorado Springs Utilities is now considered deaf-friendly!
If you’re deaf, live in Colorado Springs, and have electricity issues or need assistance, their customer service lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ask for Linda.

Message from Longmont Public Library’s Shay Overgard:
“Hi! I work for the Longmont Public Library, and we host a monthly American Sign Language Conversation Group night. It’s been running since April of this year and is expected to be a long-running program. We have Deaf community members host and assist with vocabulary, conversations, and answer questions. It’s a lovely time. Here’s the links for the next few events already loaded on the website. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.”
5:30pm-7:30pm at Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501. Click on the dates below will take you to a webpage with more information.
