Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RB) provides therapy using American Sign Language (ASL and visual communication strategies. RBTs implement treatment plans created by a BCBA, support skill development, and maintain accurate data collection.
Required Qualifications
= Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
= High school diploma or equivalent
= Active RBT certification or ability to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of starting
= Experience with Deaf/Hard of Hearing children (or strong interest)
= Ability to pass a background check
= Reliable transportation
= Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and engage in active play
Preferred Qualifications
= Experience in ABA, Deaf education, early childhood, or related fields
= Familiarity with visual learning strategies
= Strong communication and teamwork skills
= Comfort with technology and data collection apps
