ECOC’s Summit is about empowering students to take control of their futures and to ensure everyone reaches their full potential. By coming together at the Summit, students, parents, and professionals who serve youth can unite to make educational equity a priority and build a better community.

Registration is $35 for Professionals and Free for parents, students (Grades 8-12) & College Students

Speaking before a crowd of students nearly 60 years ago, Malcolm X said: “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

The ECOC Summit is an all-day event that features well-known and inspirational speakers for students, their parents, and youth-serving professionals. There are lots of good reasons to attend. Here are a few:

  • At the 2023 Summit, ECOC will award $140,000 in scholarships and educational gifts, and 20 laptops.
  • Parents can learn information on how to communicate with schools to maximize their children’s success.
  • Youth-serving professionals gain information to help inspire the children they serve and cope with work-related stress.
  • Every Educator will be entered into a raffle for one of six $500 Educator Gifrts to be awarded at the Summit.
  • Educators can gain 8 contact hours for licensure.
  • Opportunity to earn .5 Graduate Credits from Adam State University at an additional cost of $27.50.
  • You’ll select and then attend breakout sessions that explore a wide range of interesting and relevant topics.
