We are seeking for D/HH participants to be involved with a study:
Are you a Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH) person interested in learning how artificial intelligence (AI) could help you better prepare for future flood events in your community? Do you live in Southwest Colorado? Please consider participating in an online study conducted by the University of Colorado Boulder on the health impacts of October 2025 floods in Southwest Colorado. To whom it may concern,
We are recruiting D/deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children and teens (ages 7–18) to participate in a study where they will be asked to complete a trauma screening measure available in ASL and English. Please see the attached flyer for full details.
The survey must be completed by the child or teen.
A parent or guardian must provide permission for anyone under 18.
Parents may help with reading or technology, but responses must be the child’s own.
Only valid surveys completed by the child will receive the $20 compensation.
