Civil rights leader, lawyer, award-winning filmmaker, and spiritual visionary Valarie Kaur, reframes the present moment in history as one of transition and calls on us to show up in the labor of birthing a beloved community.
Through her renowned storytelling, teaching, and embodied inquiry, Valarie will help us explore how Revolutionary Love can transform our lives from the inside out. It enjoins us to see no stranger but instead look at others and say: You are a part of me I do not yet know.
See No Stranger is a practical guide to changing the world, a synthesis of wisdom, a chronicle of personal and communal history—all joined together by a story of awakening. Revolutionary Love is medicine for our times. It just might be our best chance for our collective future.
Valarie will be accompanied by world-renowned Afghan musician Qais Essar, master of the rabab—the musical instrument their ancestors used to ignite love and courage.
ASL Facilitators will be available.
