Join us as we celebrate Disability Pride Month in Denver!
Mayor Mike Johnston’s Office, Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships, and our Denver Commission for People with Disabilities invite you to an evening of community, connection, and celebration honoring the contributions, leadership, and history of the disability community.
The celebration will feature:
= Special guest speaker Amelia Smith, Director of Independent Living Programs at Atlantis Community, Inc.
= Remarks from City leaders
= A performance by Phamaly Theatre Company
= Opportunities to connect with community members and local organizations advancing disability inclusion
= A special exhibition by our partners at the Denver Public Library featuring historical archives highlighting Colorado’s Disability Rights Movement!
